Strange, but True Blood: Eric Northman Egg Art.

Wow. I think this actually goes in the category of Strange, but oddly kind of cool True Blood.

I present to you Eric Northman Egg Art.  This one-of-a-kind piece by John Lamouranne brings Eric to life using two hand-painted goose eggs.

What makes this a little more cool than strange is the detail given to the painting of the face and hair.  What keeps it on the strange side is seeing Eric Northman with an egg-shaped body (vs. the rippling, toned Eric running around in racerback tanktops on TV).

Want your very own? Find Eric on EBay.  John Lamouranne’s art has been featured on TV talkshows.  We’re talking Rush Limbaugh (*shudders*) to Martha Stewart (*SHUDDERS*).   You can also check out his egg art here.

    True Blood-style for your tech.

The idea of putting stickers on my toys doesn’t normally appeal to me.  However, this really cool decal featuring the fangy lick that was all over the True Blood Season 1 posters might make me change my mind.

The decal is currently cut to fit iPads, but a quick note to the seller and you can have it resized for you MacBook.  The decals come in four colors: matte black, glossy black, matte white and cotton candy pink and will set you back $9.99.  Too bad it doesn’t come in red.

You can find the True Blood decal on Etsy.

Strange, But True Blood: Retractable Fangs!

    MAKE ME A VAMPIRE!

For $10.95, you can own your very own set of retractable fangs.  Just soften the fangs when they arrive, mold ’em to your teeth, pop in cold water to re-harden the dental thermoplastic and you are ready to POP FANG!

Too bad they don’t come with that  satisfying “SNICK” sound effect that Eric and Bill’s fangs make when they pop out.

More Strange, but True Blood here.

    Fan Art: Eric, Sookie, Bill.

I love this. Mostly because Eric is so huge, Sookie’s got a gap and tiniest shorts on, and Bill is brooding.

Strange, but True Blood: Fangtasia Sunglasses

There are only two reasons why a True Blood vampire would need sunglasses.

Reason #1: The vamp has decided to meet the sun (not that they’d survive long enough in the sun to worry about retinal damage).

Reason #2: Sunglasses are just another accessory for the fashion forward vampire. Reference Pam (at right).

Whatever the reason, I’m sure that these Fangtasia Sunglasses are more likely to appeal to fangbangers vs. vampires.  These glasses, made of “high quality plastic” with 100% UV protection are unisex.  The seller will also have you know that they’re better looking in real life than they are in the picture.

    Good to know.
